How It Works: Once you have placed on order, simply send me a high-quality photo of your pet, and I’ll do the rest. I will work closely with you to ensure every detail is just right. Once complete, your custom pet painting will be carefully packaged and shipped directly from Manchester, UK. Take a look at some some examples of photos people have sent to me and the pet painting they recieved.
When it comes to my pet painting process you can be involved throughout to ensure you are one hundred percent happy with how your commission turns out. If you would like frequent updates on the progress of your pet painting then let me know. Every customer is given the opportunity to suggest any changes they would like to make before I ship the pet painting. PET PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDE
To create a beautiful, lifelike painting of your pet, I rely on the photo you provide because I believe it is the reference that brings your pet’s personality to life. Therefore, the better the photo, the better the result. I recommend natural and soft lighting, high resolution and take the photo from a good angle. Whether you would like me to paint your dog, cat, or any animal, here are some tips to help you choose or take the perfect picture. It is also recommend to send multiple photos so that I can choose the one I think will be the most successful. By following the pet photo submission guide below, you’ll be helping me create a portrait that truly reflects the likeness of your beloved pet.

The Importance of Lighting
Angle & Position
For the most life-like and engaging results, take the photo at your pet’s eye level. Avoid taking the picture from above or at an awkward angle since being on the same level allows me to better capture your pet’s proportions, facial expression, and personality. Make sure your pet’s entire face is visible and not cropped or distorted. Try to avoid photos where parts of your pet's face are hidden behind toys, hands, or furniture, however I understand that if you are commissioning a memorial piece, this may not always be possible. The more of your pet that is visible, the more detail I can bring into your custom pet painting.
Resolution & Quality
Please choose a clear, high-resolution image where your pet is in focus. This is because blurry or pixelated photos make it difficult to capture unique details like fur texture, eye color, or markings which may impact the final quality of your painting. A sharp image ensures your pet’s likeness is painted as accurately as possible.
